Pretty short reading week because I was being consumed by The Story of the Human Body, which is pretty cool so far. Hopefully will review it later. Check it out.
Should DPTs call themselves Doctors? I’ve grappled with this for years now, and was even told by professors in PT school that we shouldn’t because it makes them (my professors who didn’t have DPTs) look like worse PTs. As you can tell its an odd topic among PTs. Why shouldn’t we call ourselves Doctor. I know people with their PhDs in education that insist on being called doctor.
Oh weird, early MRIs for LBP lead to significant increases in healthcare costs AND worse outcomes. Not very shocking.
